How To Relieve Work-Related Stress

If you're feeling a bit stressed out at work, maybe you can try the following suggestions to make you feel better:

1. Finish the job you hate the most first. If there is a task you hate the most, try to have it done first. This way, when the job is done, your work day can only get better as it passes along.

2. Do some breathing exercises. Close your eyes, breathe in through your nose and breathe out through your mouth. Do this for one minute during the most stressful time of your work day. Use some imagination as you go through this exercise.

3. Try some aromatherapy. Just make sure it does not bother your coworkers and is not against your office's fire safety codes. A scented candle or an aromatherapy diffuser could help you perk up.

4. Do some stretching exercises. Try stretching your arms above your head. You will feel a little happier, calmer and more balanced

5. Do some squats. A set of 20-yes, 20!-squats in your office may improve your mood at work. It stimulates the release of growth hormones, which are natural mood enhancers.
